Overview:
This project is designed to empower students from our area to
use creativity, sound business practices, and the vastness of the World
Wide Web to set up and maintain a small school based "business".
Students will create and build their own "business" selling marketable
products both over the Internet and in the local community. Students
will utilize market research, market planning, the marketing mix and,
the overall market concept to manage this business. Students will
create a web site location for their business, create web promotional
strategies, create financial applications, and manage advertising
campaigns. Emphasis will be placed on selling in today’s global
marketplace and the skills needed to be successful in this environment.
